I required assistance in creating a new governance and facilitating the family succession of the company following my decision to step back from operations while remaining Chairman. The challenge was having two children in the executive committee, who held key operational positions, neither of whom wanted to assume the CEO position (for personal reasons).

I wanted guidance on how to set up a new governance by introducing a new CEO, with a particular focus in managing the “essentials” in a context of family ownership (my two children and myself) – How to really oversee the business effectively without intervening in daily operations and how to divide up/clarify the roles of my children, who are executive committee members and representatives of the company shareholders’ families.
I needed to step away from my own role (be less involved in the action and focus more on planning) and keep a check on my impatience and improve our ability to enrich the relationship with my two sons so that we can talk to each other and listen to each other better.
